ConSentry Raises New Venture Capital Funding

Milpitas, California  --  Networking company ConSentry Networks has secured $9.4 million in a new round of venture capital investment.

ConSentry has developed programmable silicon networking technologies that help customers build more secure local area networks.

Accel Partners led the round, which included DAG Ventures, Invesco Private Capital, Northgate Capital, Translink Capital and Vedanta Capital. The company said it would use the funding to "grow and support channel for its LANShield intelligent control platforms."
