EvoOrganic Obtains $1 Million New Venture Capital

Lexington, Kentucky  --  Organic products company EvoOrganic has raised $1 million in venture capital funding, according to a report in VentureWire.

EvoOrganic has developed what it calls the Weed Free Garden Blanket which reduces the requirement for harmful pesticides.

Investors in the round were not disclosed.  The company was founded in 2000 by CEO Rick Baker.
