Geni Gets $5 Million Series C Venture Capital

West Hollywood, California  --  Internet company Geni.com has garnered $5 million in its third round of venture capital funding.

Geni.com allows users to create a family tree and communicate with relatives on the tree via e-mail.

Investors in the company include Charles River Ventures and The Founders Fund. Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
