Two Firms Launch Online Hazmat Training System

Vancouver, Washington  --  Chicago based Labelmaster and Vancouver, Washington-based Instructional Technologies have announced the launch of a new online site designed for hazardous materials carrier training.

Required by federal re-certification laws, drivers that transport hazardous materials now have an online service option to help them meet their federal training requirements.

“Hazmat re-training used to be boring, time consuming and often out of date because traditional training materials are expensive to produce and hard to change. This means you end up dumping your money into something that is uninteresting, ineffective, and expensive. And then you do it all again with the next driver you hire. And with a subject as critical as transporting hazardous material, lack of thorough driver training is completely unacceptable,” says Dr. James Voorhees, CEO of Instructional Technologies (ITI).
