nLight Lights Up With Venture Capital

Vancouver, Washington  --  Semiconductor company nLight has secured $10.7 million in a new round of institutional venture capital investment, according to a report in VentureWire.

nLight manufactures high power semiconductor diode laser components and subsystems in wavelengths ranging from 635 nm to 2000 nm.

Investors in the round included Oak Investment Partners, MDV-Mohr Davidow Ventures and Menlo Ventures. Proceeds purposes from the funding round were not disclosed.
