RipCode Pulls In New Venture Investment

Richardson, Texas  --  Networking company RipCode announced that it has garnered $12.5 million in a new round of venture capital funding.

RipCode develops networking equipment that allows Internet service providers to repurpose content among a variety of viewing mediums.

Granite Ventures led the round, which included Hunt Ventures, El Dorado Ventures, the Vesbridge Partners and ATA Ventures. The company said that the "funding will further the company's long-term strategy to create ubiquitous video viewing, regardless of platform or device."
