Firetide Garners Series E Venture Capital Financing

Los Gatos, California  --  Wireless technology company Firetide has landed $8.6 million in its fifth round of venture capital funding.

Firetide is developing wireless mesh networking equipment to allow enterprises and organizations to deploy wireless networks instantly.

Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
