ShopText Sees Venture Capital Investment

Norwalk, Connecticut  --  Software development company ShopText has secured $700,000 in new venture capital funding.

ShopText says that it "is a mobile commerce and promotions company. Our software platform transforms any advertisement into a point-of-sale opportunity."

Connecticut Innovations made the investment.  The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used.
