Uptake Medical Takes In Venture Capital Funding

Seattle, Washington  --  Medical device company Uptake Medical has garnered $1.2 million in a new round of venture capital funding.

Uptake says that it is "dedicated to improving the lives of patients suffering from emphysema and other types of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases."

Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
