Envoy Therapeutics Nets Series A Venture Capital

Boca Raton, Florida  --  Biotechnology company Envoy Therapeutics has landed $8 million in its series A round of venture capital financing.

Envoy says that it is focused on "discovering new medicines for people suffering from neurological and psychiatric diseases."

5AM Ventures led the round, which also included Takeda Research Investment and the Roche Venture Fund.  The company said it will use the funding to focus on developing new treatments for neurological and psychiatric diseases.
