Lux BioSciences Raises $50 Million New Venture Capital

Jersey City, New Jersey  --  Biotechnology company Lux BioSciences has raised $15 million in its second round of institutional venture capital investment.

Lux is developing medications to treat a variety of ophthalmic conditions and diseases.

Investors in the round included HBM Bioventures, Novo A/S, Prospect Venture Partners and SV Life Sciences.  The company said it would use the new funding to prepare for the commercial launch of its product LUVENIQ.
