Centice Collects Series C Venture Capital Financing

Morrisville, North Carolina  --  Biotechnology equipment company Centice has garnered $6.1 million in its third round of venture capital funding.

Centice sells "molecular spectroscopy optical sensors that are used by our partners in general purpose and application-specific products."

Investors in the round included Fulcrum Financial Group, Aurora Funds, S-Group Direct Investments and Innovation Ventures.  The company said it would use the funds to support commercialization efforts for its prescription verification product.
