DexCom Gets Glucose Monitoring CE Mark

San Diego, California  --  Medical device company DexCom (NASDAQ: DXCM) announced that it has received the European CE Mark approval for marketing its continuous glucose monitoring system in the European Union and other countries in Asia and Latin America that recognize the CE Mark.

The device, called Seven Plus, is the company's third-generation device that helps people with diabetes better manage their condition and control their glucose levels.

According to the company, diabetes is the leading cause of adult blindness, end-stage kidney failure and lower than amputation.
