Stemcell Technologies Speeds Up Cord Blood Cell Count

Vancouver, British Columbia  --  Life sciences company Stemcell Technologies has announced the launch of a new medium that allows for speedy processing of cord blood cell counts.

Called MethoCult Express, the medium is specifically formulated to allow enumeration of colony forming cells after seven days of culture.

Normally, progenitor cell numbers in cord blood can only be obtained after standard 14 day assay periods.
