Accumetrics Accepts New Venture Capital Investment

San Diego, California  --  Medical instrument company Accumetrics has secured $16.5 million in a new round of venture capital financing.

Accumetrics markets a suite of tests for the assessment of platelet response to antiplatelet therapies.

Investors in the round included Arnerich Messina and Associates, BBT Fund, Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, Kaiser Permanente Ventures and Rivervest Venture Partners. Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
