Apprenda Accepts $5 Million Venture Capital Financing

Clifton Park, New York  --  Software company Apprenda has landed $5 million in a new round of institutional venture capital investment.

Apprenda says that it is a pioneering developer of "a general purpose platform for SaaS applications."

New Enterprise Associates led the financing round, which also included High Peaks Ventures.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
