Genetix Pharma Launches ALD Clinical Program

Cambridge, Massachusetts  --  Gene therapy developer Genetix Pharmaceuticals announced its global clinical program to treat Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD).

Genetix is developing a gene therapy product in conjunction with researchers at the National Institute of Health and Medical Research.

The company has already begun an ongoing trial in France and expects to file an IND to expand development in the US, with the hope of having a commercially available product by 2014.
