Raleigh, North Carolina  --  Software development company Zenph has raised $10.7 million in its first round of institutional venture capital financing.

Zenph is developing software that attempts to re-create precisely how musicians perform through superior recording technology.

Intersouth Partners led the round, which also included the Capitol Broadcasting Company.  The company said it would use the funding proceeds to "refine the company's business model and continue product development."
