Goldman Sachs Launches Small Businesses Initiative

New York, New York  --  Financial services company Goldman Sachs Group (NYSE: GS) announced the launch of a new initiative to support the growth of up to 10,000 small businesses across the United States.

The initiative will invest up to $300 million in financial capital as well as providing business education, mentors and networks.

The program is a five-year initiative modeled on the company's 10,000 Women initiative, which is currently operating in 18 countries.
