Bigfoot Networks Garners $8 Million Series A

Austin, Texas  --  Digital media company Bigfoot Networks has secured $8 million in its series A round of institutional venture capital investment.

Bigfoot aims to provide gamers with technology that can improve the performance of their gaming systems.

North Bridge Venture Partners led the round, which also included Palomar Ventures.  The company said it would use the new funding to expand its business of making faster network cards.
