Xignite Launches Real-Time Stock Quote API

San Mateo, California -- Cloud service provider Xignite has announced the launch of a new real-time stock quote web service.

Called XigniteGlobalRealTime, the new data API allows website developers to obtain real-time Level I stock quotes from global stock exchanges.

The company says that it is the first web service of its kind and significantly reduces the cost of serving this information to website viewers.
