Asana Accepts $9 Million Venture Capital Investment

California  --  Internet company Asana has secured $9 million in a new round of institutional venture capital financing.

Asana is said to be developing enterprise productivity tools that improve upon standard e-mail and other groupware.

Investors in the round were Benchmark Capital and Andreesson Horwitz.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
