Hot Potato Raises Series A Venture Capital Round

Brooklyn, New York  --  Internet social networking startup Hot Potato has secured $1.42 million for its first round of venture capital financing.

Hot Potato has created a social networking site that connects friends and fans through live events.

Lead investors in the round were First Round Capital and RRE Ventures.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
