Altruik Closes Series A Venture Capital Financing

New York, New York  --  Internet technology company Altruik has landed $4.7 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

Altruik has developed technology that it says ensures that search engine crawlers will be able to see the hidden data contained in database driven websites.

DFJ Gotham led the round, which also included First Round Capital, Greenhill SAVP and Javelin Venture Partners.  Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed by the company.
