BitWave Semi Sees New Venture Capital Funding

Lowell, Massachusetts  --  Programmable transceiver company BitWave Semiconductor has secured $1.33 million in new venture capital investment.

BitWave says that it has been "dedicated to the development of a universal programmable transceiver" that will allow wireless carriers and cell phone manufacturers to deploy services in less time.

Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
