Computer Information Development Launches ID Solution

Arcadia, California  --  Online security company Computer Information Development (CID) has announced the launch of a new Social Security Administration number verification service.

Called IDentifier Validation (IDV), the system is linked to the United States Social Security Administration master files and death indexes to supply validation of Social Security numbers, name, date of birth and other indicators.

The company says that organizations can now go directly to the government source for real-time, up-to-date information instead of relying on more outdated information.
