DisplayLink Raises $8 Million Venture Capital Funding

Palo Alto, California  --  Semiconductor technology company DisplayLink has secured $8 million in a new round of venture capital investment.

DisplayLink says that it has "reinvented the way computers talk to multiple displays through the use of semiconductors and software."

Investors in the round included Balderton Capital, Atlas Venture, DAG Ventures and DFJ Esprit.  Proceeds purposes from the funding round were not disclosed.
