AcroMetrix Launches Molecular Testing Quality Control

Benecia, California  --  Biotechnology testing company AcroMetrix announced the launch of what it calls the "first standardized quality control for MSSA molecular testing.

Called the OptiQual MSSA Positive Control, the system is designed to test for antibiotics resistant bacteria strains commonly found in hospital acquired infections.

The company said that a control for Clostridium difficile will be offered shortly as well.
