ThePort Network Nets New Angel Financing

Atlanta, Georgia  --  Software company ThePort Network has garnered $500,000 in first-round angel capital financing.

ThePort Network says that it provides a complete suite of software as a service solution to enable users to create, operate and monetize socially enabled communities.

Charlotte Angel Partners made the investment.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
