Alien Technology Finds Venture Capital Financing

Morgan Hill, California  --  RFID technology company Alien Technology Corporation has garnered $9.5 million in its latest venture capital funding round.

Alien sells UHF RFID products and services to a variety of consumer, manufacturing, transportation and pharmaceuticals industries.

Investors in the round included New Enterprise Associates, Rho Ventures, SunBridge Partners and Advanced Equities Financial Corp.  Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
