Forma Therapeutics Lands Second VC Funding

Cambridge, Massachusetts  --  Biotechnology company Forma Therapeutics has secured $25.5 million in its series B round of venture capital funding.

Forma says that it is "integrating transformative biology and chemistry to unlock targets and pathways that have been validated through genomic medicine as root causes or major drivers of human cancers."

Strategic investor Lilly Ventures was the lead investor in the round, which also included Novartis Venture Fund and Bio*One Capital.  The company said it would use the funding to focus on its internal target-based oncology programs.
