Advanced Cell Technology Gets New Venture Capital

Worcester, Massachusetts  --  Biotechnology company Advanced Cell Technology (OTCBB: ACTC) has secured $2.77 million in a new round of investment.

The company is developing a program for autologus adult stem cell therapy for the treatment of heart disease.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.
