Movik Networks Nets Second Venture Capital Funding

Littleton, Massachusetts  --  IT company Movik Networks has raised $8.5 million in its series B round of institutional venture capital investment.

Movik says that it is "focused on delivering purpose built solutions that bring content and application awareness to the edge of the mobile network."

Company investors include Highland Capital Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
