GI Dynamics Gets $15 Million Venture Capital

Lexington, Massachusetts  --  Medical device company GI Dynamics has secured $15 million in its third round of venture capital financing.

GI Dynamics has developed "novel devices that are delivered into the gastrointestinal tract. Using minimally invasive techniques."

Investors in the round included Advanced Technology Ventures, Cutlass Capital, Domain Associates, Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, Polaris Venture Partners and other undisclosed investors.  Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
