Black Duck Lands $5 Million Venture Capital Funding

Waltham, Massachusetts  --  Software company Black Duck Software has secured $5 million in its series D round of venture capital investment.

Black Duck provides automated software compliance management solutions that assist enterprises in managing their software assets.

Investors in the round included General Catalyst Partners, Fidelity Ventures, Flagship Ventures, Focus Ventures, Intel Capital and SAP Ventures.  The company said it would use the funding to "support continued growth, enhanced products and expand its international distribution capabilities."
