Longmont, Colorado  --  Satellite network company DigitalGlobe announced that it has concluded a multi-year agreement with wireless company Nokia.

According to the terms of the agreement, DigitalGlobe will integrate its high-resolution satellite imagery content into the functionality of Nokia Maps, which can be downloaded to a variety of Nokia handsets.

“We chose DigitalGlobe as our world imagery content partner because of its high-quality imagery, comprehensive coverage, and technical experience in delivering mobile imagery solutions,” said Christof Hellmis, director, head of navigation context services platform, Nokia. “Integrating even more of DigitalGlobe’s high-resolution imagery into Nokia Maps improves the visual context of our users’ global navigation experiences.”
