Dasient Pulls In $2 Million Venture Capital Funding

San Jose, California -- Security company
Dasient
has garnered $2 million in an early round of venture capital investment.
Dasient is developing what it calls "next generation security" solutions for the Internet.
Maples Investments made the investment, with Mike Maples as the partner involved. The company did not disclose how it would use the funding proceeds.
