Evoke Pharma Secures Series A Venture Capital

San Diego, California -- Pharmaceutical company Evoke Pharma (no website) has raised $12.3 million in its first round of venture capital financing, according to a regulatory filing.
Evoke says that it is "involved in the acquisition and development of proprietary products for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases."
Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intended to use the financing proceeds.
