SABEW Launches Freelance Writer Market

Monday, February 23, 2009 5:16:00 AM PDT | VentureDeal Staff

Columbia, Missouri  --  The Society of American Business Editors and Writers (SABEW) announced a re-vamp of its job listings site and the launch of a new market for business freelancers and editors.

The site allows SABEW members to post jobs for free and non-members to pay $30 per job per month.

"We're responding to a huge need among people who have been caught up in especially severe cutbacks among business journalists, not just in daily newspapers but across all media. A lot of them have suddenly been thrust into freelancing to support themselves," said SABEW President Bernie Kohn of the Baltimore Sun.
