Westec Secures $20 Million Venture Capital Funding

Coppell, Texas  --  Video monitoring company Westec Intelligent Surveillance announced that it has secured an additional $20 million in venture capital funding.

Westec has developed technologies for what it calls "intelligent video surveillance" aimed at the retail industry.

Egis Capital Partners led the round, which also included Argonaut Private Equity. The company said that the investment would be used to support its organic growth initiatives.
