Vuzit Sees New Venture Capital Financing Round

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania  --  Software company Vuzit has raised an angel round of venture capital funding, according to a company statement.

Vuzit has created an online document platform that "utilizes Web services and AJAX technology to create a best of breed Web platform for distributing and displaying documents."

Robin Hood Ventures led the round, which also included Ben Franklin Technology Partners and other undisclosed investors. The company said it would use the funding to "enhance its sales and marketing efforts as well as to patent their proprietary document technology."
