Borrego Bulks Up With $14 Million Venture Capital

El Cajon, California  --  Solar installer Borrego Solar Systems has landed $14 million in a new venture capital funding round.

Borrego installs residential, commercial and public sector "grid connected" solar electric systems.

Investors in the round were not disclosed.  The company said it would use the financing to "expand its commercial and government design and installation operations into the mid Atlantic region..."
