Sangart Garners $50 Million Series F Funding

San Diego, California  --  Biotechnology company Sangart has secured $50 million in its sixth round of venture capital financing.

Sangart is developing and commercializing what it calls "oxygen transport agents" and said it would use the funds to complete phase III clinical trials for its lead candidate.

Investors in the round were not disclosed, according to the regulatory filing on file with the SEC.
