Buzznet Pulls In $12 Million Series C Financing

Los Angeles, California  --  Internet company Buzznet has secured $12 million in its third round of venture capital funding.

Buzznet operates a social online community that provides mutation tools by enabling its users to program multimedia communities around music and pop culture topics.

Focus Ventures was the lead investor in the round, which also included Anthem Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates, Redpoint Ventures and Sutter Hill Ventures. The company said it would use the funding to fuel its continued growth.
