Ikano Therapeutics Nets 2nd Venture Capital Financing

Saddle Brook, New Jersey  --  Pharmaceutical company Ikano Therapeutics has secured an additional $9 million in its second round of institutional venture capital funding.

Ikano is focused on developing pharmaceutical products to treat pain and central nervous system disorders.

SV Life Sciences, Tullis-Dickerson & Co. and Burrill & Co. were among the investors.  The company said it would use the funding to advance its ITI-111 candidate.
