San Diego, California  --  Messaging company Globaltel Media has announced that its free SMS text message service is now accessible to businesses.

Called Cherple, the service does not require a subscription or registration, and can now be branded to serve any SMS need.

“Presenting a free SMS to mobile technology like Cherple™ for anyone to use has really opened the door for the multitude of different applications for two-way text message chat technologies for business and enterprises,” explained Robert Sanchez, Globaltel Media president and CEO. “The uses for this type of text message communication that provides the intimacy of true two-way dialog are many. Retailers can use it to let their customers know about special sales, restaurants can let patrons know their table is available, and schools can use it to communicate with students in time of crisis and, more importantly, receive information back if help is needed.”
