Marinus Lands $20 Million Series B Venture Capital

Branford, Connecticut  --  Specialty pharmaceutical company Marinus Pharmaceuticals has secured $20 million in its second round of institutional venture capital financing.

Marinus is developing and commercializing novel drugs for neurological, psychiatric and pain disorders.

Investors in the round included Canaan Partners, Domain Associates, Sofinnova Ventures and Foundation Medical Partners.  the company said that the financing will advance its ganaxolone development program.
