New York, New York -- Research company DealFlow Media has published a report on private investments in publicly traded entities for the first quarter, 2009.
According to the service PrivateRaise, private investments in public companies, also known as PIPEs, fell to $10.28 billion, a 72% decrease in capital investment over the previous quarter.
The survey determined that both venture capital and private equity investors proved to be among the most active investment types in the quarter.
