Pliant Technology Nets $15 Million Venture Capital

Milpitas, California  --  Components company Pliant Technology has secured $15 million in its series C round of institutional venture capital investment.

Pliant says that it is developing "enterprise flash drives" which are a new class of solid-state storage devices.

Investors in the round included Lightspeed Venture Partners, Arcturus Capital and Divergent Ventures. The company said it would use the funding to expand its enterprise flash drive product portfolio.
