HydroCision Launches New Lateral Fusion Devices

Billerica, Massachusetts  --  Medical device company HydroCision announced the launch of a new fusion handpiece for the minimally invasive direct lateral fusion procedure.

Called SpineJet DL, the handpiece promises to be less destructive to anatomical structures and require less operating room time.

Company CEO Doug Daniels said, “Patients today are seeking out surgeons that perform new minimally invasive procedures like the direct lateral interbody fusion approach. This has led to rapid adoption of these new and evolving techniques by a growing number of spine surgeons, in turn, driving the demand for new instruments that allow surgeons to work through progressively, smaller incisions.”
